Brewing Education Program Manager, Professional Education

Bobby Faithful is the Brewing Education Program Specialist at the University of Richmond. He is well known for his work in all aspects of the brewing industry.

Faithful’s professional experience includes work with Dogfish Head Brewery, with Lost Rhino Brewing Company as a Regional Sales Manager, with The Answer Brewpub as Front of House Manager, with Final Gravity Brewing, and with Alewerks Brewing Company as Brewer.

Faithful’s family roots in the Virginia brewing industry extend to the late 1700s as a direct descendant of Sally Hemings. Her brother, Peter Hemings, took charge of the brewing and malting operations at Monticello in 1813.

Faithful has been an advocate of brewing education for over a decade and is a member of the Brewing Education Roundtable at the Brewers Association. His efforts with workforce development and staff training have helped Virginia sustain and retain employees in the brewing industry.
