Profile

Luke Norris joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2018. He previously served as a visiting assistant professor at Cardozo Law School and a fellow at the Center for Constitutional Governance at Columbia Law School. He writes about civil procedure, labor and employment law, and constitutional law – with a focus on how these fields interact with workers’ and consumers’ economic security or insecurity. Luke clerked for Judge Robert D. Sack and Judge Guido Calabresi, both of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and was a litigator at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, his M.Sc. from Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship, and his B.A. from Gettysburg College.
