
Paul Birch is the Computer Services Librarian, and focuses on academic technology support and web development. He also teaches legal research and provides assistance at the law library reference desk. Mr. Birch has spoken on technology issues affecting law schools and law libraries at the 2010 Law School Electronic Services Conference, at several Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction Conferences for Law School Computing, and at an annual meeting of the American Association of Law Libraries. He also administers email forums for the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries, and published a guide to compliance resources with respect to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 in Virginia Lawyer Magazine.
